Intermediate Care Facilities for the Mentally Retarded (ICFMR). This health care is given in a home-like setting for the mentally retarded people. Developmentally disabled persons, whether young or old, are also covered by this type of long-term health care service. ICFMR provides treatment aiming to help residents to work on their own as much as possible. They also provide health care services necessary for resident's situation.
